And the reason why it’s called the Transformation Factory is because it’s based off my own transformation,” Gibson, who lives in Wellington, said.At his heaviest, Gibson weighed over 500 pounds and doctors told him he wouldn’t make it to the age of 30.That’s when he made the decision to transform his life by spending four to six hours in the gym daily, adopting a vegan diet, and turning to a so-called superfood he would eat in his native Bahamas — sea moss.“Sea moss is a super-marine algae that grows in the ocean. It has 90% of all the minerals that the human body is made of, so zinc, potassium, everything that we need. So that’s what we want to showcase with our children because some kids don’t have the opportunity to just go to college,” Douglas Lawson, a Riviera Beach city commissioner, said.Currently, Gibson has a summer internship program for middle and high schoolers to teach them e-commerce skills.
