Beyond his surprising weight loss, the rugby pro added: “It was a lot of hard work but we raised a good chunk of change for Parkinson’s.” The Queen’s grandson-in-law recently took part in a 770 km-long charity bike ride, cycling from Lake Geneva to Nice in six days.
Joined by 21 teammates, Mike tackled 3,000 metres of climbing every day. The amateur cyclist made sure to update his curious fans by posting a series of sweaty selfies.
Documenting the second day of his extraordinary feat, the 43-year-old shared a carousel of eye-opening snaps, including a picture of two of his teammates dunking their heads into a refreshing water fountain.

Bring on day 3.” Mike’s fans rushed to the comments section in praise of his adventurous feat, with one writing: “Brilliant effort Mike & team,” whilst another penned: “Fantastic effort, well done.”
Later in the podcast, Mike confessed that he was largely unprepared for the endurance test. When asked about his training, Mike said: “I didn’t do the training that was necessary.” Speaking of the tricky ascents, the dad-of-three remarked: “I had some chats with my ancestors for a few hills”.

Mike’s surprising revelation comes after he attended Stephanie Phillips’ glamorous wedding on Saturday. The professional sportsman was joined by his wife, Zara, and their two daughters, Mia, eight, and Lena, four.
Dressed in powder blue, the adorable sibling duo took on bridesmaid duties as Stephanie, 24, tied the knot with her long-term partner, William Hosier. Proud mum Zara opted for a periwinkle broderie dress which she teamed with a chic button headpiece and a pair of pointed nude heels.
